MorningStar Apostolic Church International consists of people of various ethnic backgrounds who are endeavoring to serve God in their every day living. Established by the Lord to shine the light of His glorious Gospel to the world. Built on the foundation of the Apostles’ doctrine and empowered by Jesus Christ, our Chief Corner Stone. God has shown His favor toward us, and we are humbled by His goodness. If you are searching for truth, peace, life everlasting, miracles, restoration, or a shelter from life’s storms, please come!
We believe that The Bible contains the complete Word of God and every word in it is true. (Psa. 119:160, John 17:17)
We believe in One true God. He was manifested in the flesh as Jesus Christ. We are monotheistic. (Deut. 6:4, John 14:9)
We believe that obedience in repentance, water baptism in the name of Jesus, receiving, and being led of His Spirit to all truth which is holiness. (Acts 2:38)
We believe in the infilling of the Holy Ghost as evidenced in the book of Acts. (Acts 2:4, 10:46)
We believe in the local assembly and the gathering of the saints for worship, praise and fellowship. (Heb. 10:25)
We believe that the pastor is the head of the local church. He must be able to preach/prophesy, teach, and do the work of an evangelist in spreading the Apostles’ doctrine. (Eph. 4:11)
We believe in the “catching away” of the believers who have made themselves ready. (1 Th. 4:17)
We believe that following the rapture, there will be a tribulation period of seven years for the world and all who were not ready. (Matt. 24:21)
We believe…Keep yourselves in the love of God, looking for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ unto eternal life. (Jude 1:21)

For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so them also which sleep in Jesus will God bring with him. For this we say unto you by the word of the Lord, that we which are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord shall not prevent them which are asleep. For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first: Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord. Wherefore comfort one another with these words. (1 Thessalonians 4:14–18 KJV)

This sukkah is a reminder of the Lord’s faithfulness and protective shelter over His people. The Feast of Tabernacles has so much biblical meaning for the past, present and future. There’s a biblical mandate to know biblical history because it points to the future. It’s God’s story of His salvation, redemption, relationship, plan, and purpose for His people. ~ Although there are many feasts in the Bible, there are only 3 which are The Feasts of The Lord, these are to be observed “forever.” It’s awesome to see that the Jews continue to keep the feasts over 2000 years! ~ By God’s grace we were “grafted” (Romans 11:24) into His Body, the Church. We build the yearly sukkah because the Feast of Tabernacles reveals an abundance of prophetic insight. What confidence it gives us to know that even though life on earth is as temporary as the sukkah, our Heavenly Father saves, protects, guides, and keeps us throughout life’s journey because we’re “looking for that blessed hope, and the glorious appearing of the great God and our Saviour Jesus Christ;” Titus 2:13 We celebrate the feast with much joy. We are thankful for God’s guidance through the years. It’s a long journey of many experiences both good and bad. How wonderful it is to know that God is at the very core of it all, guiding us by His Word, Spirit and unmeasurable love. It’s about daily trust in God, not knowing exactly what tomorrow will bring, but in knowing WHO holds tomorrow! May this joyful season bring to fruition our blessed hope! ~ Thanks to the Henrikson & Contreras families for the yearly sukkah design, decor set-up and take down. God bless you!! ... Celebrating 45 years of marriage!
May 23rd, 2020 marks 45 years of powerful and enduring love for Bishop and Elect Lady Lizarraga. Forty-five years of marriage is traditionally celebrated with a sapphire stone gift. Just like the sapphire gem, their marriage certainly reflects the rare and precious beauty of a love established in Jesus Christ. This Kingdom Couple has not focused on earthly exploits, but rather heavenly pursuits. As they founded MorningStar Apostolic Church and continue to lead this congregation, Bishop and Elect Lady have fervently warred in prayer, internationally supported those in need, passionately raised a family to fear the Lord and wholeheartedly followed the will of God with their leadership roles. This milestone can only be depicted in snapshots of miracles and victories that a lifetime of dedication and love creates!
